Cool. Hoping to view the GT, but it might have already been sold. Argh! I'm going to boost my budget a bit methinks. Maybe to 7000ish. Wish me luck!

After some research I think the Specialised might be a bit old, and I've decided I need disc brakes. I'm a bit worried the stem on the GT might be a bit long, considering the size of the frame. It's really tempting me in though, so I'll try to view it this week. Again, I'm extremely grateful...

Hi guys, I'm so grateful for your responses. I really, really appreciate it. I'll be needing a large bike - I'm 179cm tall. That GT does look good. 500 is right at the limit of my budget, so I'll keep poking around before committing. Tack så mycket!

Hej! Jag har precis flyttat till Stockholm, och planerar på att få en mountainbike för crusing aroung staden och göra några spår. Jag ägde en specialiserad hårdrock tidigare, så hoppades på en liknande prissatta motsvarande. Runt 5000 kronor max. Jag hoppades att plocka upp den i nästa vecka...
