I am on my way to Stockholm from Göteborg for the Velothon race, I am traveling with SJ and there is just one catch, where do you put your bike case.All the luggage compartments are too small:(

Lucky for me the train is half empty and I was able to place the bike/case in a two seat section. If the train was full then it could be a tricky situation! Really happy to see that we can at last start using the Swedish rail service, all they need to do now is arrange for a luggage compartment that fits at the end of the carriges. I still have to get back to GBG yet...Gulp...

Yes, I noticed that small problem too. The decision makers implemented the change without looking att the practical part I think. Lets just hope bigger compartments are o the way!

One tip is in X2000 trains car no 7 there is plenty of space which is reserved for handicapped. Usually you can put the bikebag there.

I rode in the first class car and there was a big gap between two rows of seats which accepted my bike bag easily.

Thanks for the tip lundatok about carrige no 7 (I might need it on my way back:) I am travelling first class right now and when you say big gap between two rows of seats,do you mean placing the bike case infront of the seats (so they cant be used) I just walked up and down the carrige and cant see any big gaps between the two rows of seats.

Men om man får ta med en segway i väska så borde en cykel inte vara något problem? Min tolkning är att man inte vill att folk packar i sopsäckar. Får man med cykeln i en väska så kan man väl betrakta den som ihopfällbar. :-)

Jag bokade plats i vagn 7 och har lyckats stuva undan väskan i jättebagageutrymmet som finns i den. Förhoppningsvis slipper jag paragrafryttare som slänger av mig i Katrineholm.
