I think for most people, 158g an hour is too much for VR. I'm 101kg and averaged just under 280w - I did 140g an hour on the bike. My stomach held, but I could feel that it was under pressure at the end. I didn't feel amazing the next day, I'll admit.

Two bottles on the bike, correct. One with water, one with carbs. At the first and second depots, replace both bottles with fresh ones and drink an extra half a bottle of water too.
