12s Shimano quicklink i oneup EDC tool ?

Införskaffade mig en EDC tool(v2) och tänkte trycka i en Shimano 12 speed quicklink för förvaring.

Mina alternativ.
1. Slå i quicklinken med hammare(hur får jag ut den när den behövs i skogen)
2. Borra upp hålet med förhopning att det inte blir för stort.

Nån annan med samma problem som har en elegantare lösning. Känns surt att börja borra i den.

Jag har mina lösa i botten på den hylsan som är gängad. Ihop med baconstrips och tång.
Sen eagle kedjelås på vanliga platsen.

MM hade dock tänkt ha en co2 patron. Men jo alternativet är ju att fortsätta med en mindre sadelväska eller ramväska också.

Får de inte plats ändå?
Har patronen i min pump så inte tänkt på det innan. Då hade jag försökt fila försiktigt.

Om någon annan köper en så är detta svaret från Oneup:

Some feedback we had with the V1 EDC tool was a slightly loose fitment for quick link pins in the frame/carrier. We have updated these holes for the V2 and seem to have gone a little too far on the first iteration (which you and other early adopters received) in the other direction causing the too tight fit you have reported.

We have updated the design and will have replacement frame parts available later this fall. In the meantime we have an easy at home fix to stow your quick links and get out on the trails fast;

Using or T20 torx tool from your tool bench or a T20 drill bit;

Simply hand drill out/bore out the holes with the T20 torx and they will accept your quick links. The fitment may be a little loose then and we suggest a simple strip of electrical tape over the links to hold them secure before you reassemble the EDC tool system and stow in your steerer or pump.

Jag och EDC är helt på samma linje....
Jag har bevisligen V1 eftersom jag har tappat kedjelås eftersom de sitter för löst.När jag upptäckte detta så satte jag en bit eltejp över kedjelåsen för att jag inte skulle tappa dem. :-)
