Best Navigation Apps for bike paths and trails?

Hey all, (sorry for the English)

I'm trying to figure out how to navigate using available bike paths or non-technical single track. Google maps keeps trying to get me to ride on busy 2 lane highways with no shoulder. I'm not comfortable riding on highways around Täby, where I live and there's no easy way to redirect it. Any suggestions?

I'm primarily riding rigid vintage MTBs and don't mind a little dirt as long as it's not super technical/gnarly

Are there any good apps out there I should consider? aside from apps is there a consensus on a budget friendly cycling computer or something I should look into instead?

There are a few, depending on how you qualify bike paths and single track:
Komoot and RideWithGPS are both more for routing on existing trails, roads, paths and cycle paths. But if your trails are well known and marked on normal maps, they will have it as well.

For more trail riding you have Trailforks that also incorporates sections and trails that are maybe not as used by other means of transportation.

All three have apps for both phones and for at least Garmins GPSes.

I feel like I'd found an app a long time ago that let me choose a bike route by it's safety level - eg, I could filter it by how much was on a bike specific path or a road. For the life I me I can't find it now.

I figured out the app I'd been looking for: "Cyclers" - pretty cool in that it lets you set points then choose from multiple routes based on speed, safety, riding surface, riding style etc... I'll start checking out RideWithGPS too. Thanks!

Saw an ad for an app called Cadence that boldly stated to make bike computers redundant. Maybe give it a shot?
