Headset question for trail and enduro rider (market research)

Hi,

After a discussion with a friend about the difficulty of purchasing I am trying to figure out what the after-market is for headsets for people with mountain bikes at the higher end of the marketplace
Hoping that the power that is in the moderator's pool will let the post up since I AM NOT SELLING HEADSETS TO ANYONE!!!
So here are my questions to those here with a FULL SUSPENSION Mountain bike that retails new at SEK50K or more:

1- Have you ever had the need to replace your headset in the time you owned one of the bikes mentioned above?

2- If so, did you: A Only replace the bearing
B Replace the whole headset like for like (exact same make and model or the current model from the brand)
C Upgrade the headset

3- If you answered C, what brand did you upgrade with: A Cane Creek
B Hope
C Chris King
D Wolf Tooth
E Other (which)

4- If you answer C to question 2, where did you acquire the headset: A LBS
B Online Swedish shop
C Online German shop
D Online direct from the manufacturer's site

5- For those that got all the way to answer question 4, what was the key reason for your purchase decision: A Availability
B Price
C Some to do the mechanical work for you

1. Yes, every 1-3 years depending on amount of bad luck.
2. C. But only the first time on each bike, to get something where spare bearings are actually readily available.

1: No. But that is through only abt 8 years of mtb'ing and I ride only abt once/week on average.
