looking for like-minded bikers

Hej,

hopefully someone will read this till the end, even if it's in English; as my Swedish is a bit rusty.
I'm solo traveling to Sverige in July and am looking for like-minded bikers who enjoy riding trails, biking down as well as up in the AM/Enduro direction.
I'm looking at Sälen/Kläppen/Funäsdalen at the moment. Does anyone know local groups or agencies I can get in contact with in that area? So far I found a bike race in Funäsdalen on July 18th organized by Fjällturen. Does anyone have experience with that event?
I'm grateful for any kind of info you guys can give me.

The area Lindvallen have great downhill biking, and you'll find plenty of bikers there any day.
For x-country trails I've heard that Rörbäcksnäs west of Sälen have some trails. Never tried it myself, but I'm sure someone here can confirm.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I know these places from winter but would like to get to know them a bit better in summer with the bike. I'd like to combine a bit of downhill with xc; Rörbäcksnäs with Lindvallen sounds like a nice combo. The reason I'm looking for someone to ride with is pretty simple. Some time ago I was in the woods alone, had a nasty fall and a difficult time to get help. I wouldn't want history to repeat itself.

Wish I could join you in Rörbäcksnäs, but I doubt I'll be able to go this year.

I'll let you know if things change, otherwise......hope you find company, and have a very nice time in Sweden.

There is a company called "strapats" in Funäsdalen, i think they can help you and also take you on some guidance.
