The sooner the better. I guess the transition will be smooth for you, maybe you can help out with the big work, translating all the existing posts. We have been talking about having a cooperation with the english courses at the university, maybe they can let students translate posts as a part of their studies.

Skall man gå efter hur Song värderade användarbasen när dom köpte en internetleverantör så hamnar det på runt 15 000 kr per användare. Fast eftersom det rör sig om ett forum där användarna inte betalar något i subscription fee så skulle jagtippa på att det hamnar runt 1 000 sek per användare.
Om Jomper varit smart (rätt typ av asset management) så borde han få behålla runt 3 000 000 SEK efter övertagandet.

Gissar att det blir en flådig roadtrip :)

Yes, students are great when it comes to translating... Almost as good as babelfish, which did an excellent job of translating jomper's text to Japanese and back... =)

Yes, I have heard interesting discussions at the University of Linköping about translation cooperation with this MTB forum.

However I have also come across even bigger plans, yesterday there was a rumour regarding the merging of two major bicycle forums in Sweden. Happymtb.org is involved but since the plans, so far, are of a classified nature the name of the other forum is not to be published.

The name of the merged forum is now official and is stated to be:

Wouldn´t it be a great idea to write a babelfish module Swe -> Eng now so that the forum can be automagically translated? Or is it a part of the business agreement that all the admins and moderators should work with manually translation of the forum from now on?
