Barbotto!
To cycle up any mountain with a name is a feat in itself. To take on the challenge of Barbotto during the Nove Colli when people around you are falling off their bikes and zig-zagging in front of you because of the gradient takes something extra. I had not been over the top of Barbotto since 2011 and after my heart op in 2013 I didn't ever expect to do it again. Last week I'd intended to walk but suddenly I realised I was nearing the summit so I went for it. As the photo shows I was somewhat pleased with myself at the top for cycling all the way up and over one of the hardest and most famous cycling mountains in the World.
