Forgive me for writing in English - please reply in Swedish as I need the practice!

I'm planning to compete in the 40-44 age group this year, but I'm struggling to find much information online about the course. Speaking to a mechanic called Finn who helps with the organisation there, he said that almost half of the course is new this year. I asked him whether to go for a fast 'champagne' gravel set up (for me, the Grail) or for something to handle rougher terrain (my Grizl). He said go wide on tyres and expect some rougher terrain.

Does anyone have a link to this year's course? Has anyone ridden it? How rough is the gravel? I know I should just go down there and ride it, but it's not exactly close.

Anyone else planning to compete? Has anyone done it in past years and wants to share their experience?

Thanks in advance!

Photo from Norway from last week for no especially good reason :D

Hej! 2025 års rutter är inte spikade än men 45 mm däck kommer fungera bra. Är blandat underlag, med allt från snabbt grus till stökigare partier med grövre grus.

Thanks for the reply. I think riding it is going to be the best course of action. I'll go with my friend who is identical in size and weight and put him on his Grail, me on my Grizl. Compare the feel of riding the course and the power data too.

After a couple of weeks on the Grizl (first leading a cycle tour and then a week in Norway), I've gotten used to the very planted, secure handling and being able to corner and descend rapidly. I rode the Grail on Sunday, and whilst it was really fast, the confidence in the corners was somewhat lacking.
