Hörde en låt som gick mig på fall direkt....låten heter The Poet And The Pendulum med Nightwish. Kors vad den är bra. Den har allt !!! Men texten snubbs o tants.... vill ni förklara vad den handlar om. Låttexter och budskap är inte min starka sida. Någon som kan förklara vad den handlar om ?

Jag tror att sångaren skrev en text om att han ville dö för att han försökte skriva en poetisk text och misslyckades totalt. Lite meta sådär.
Ärligt talat, ännu en hårdrockstext som rimmar med pain/rain. Sånt är svårt att ta på allvar.
Kolla in Dream theater "Awake", DÄR har du bra hårdrockstexter :)

Åsså ska den läsas baklänges som alla hårdrockstexter. Fast inte bokstav för bokstav utan stycke för stycke. Then it make sense ;o)

Den texten är fan helt omöjlig. Jag gissar på att den är skriven av samma apor som fyller på olja i Marzocchis gafflar. Eller kanske är tagen ur en uppsatstävling i lekis. Nä, det är nog Spy bar-Fadde som skrivit den. Nä, det är Carola när hon talar i tungor. Eller så kanske det Kikki, Bettan och Lotta som kluddade ner texten efter en vild natt på speedballs.
Tacka vet jag hårdrocksbandet Kents texter:

Förvisso inte Awake, men du kan väl ändå inte påstå att detta är bra:

Haha, det där var värsta sortens nödrim. :-)
Efter Kevin Moore slutade så har inte Dream Theater varit något speciellt. Det var hans texter som var grymma (han slutade ju efter Awake).
Jag är riktigt förtjust i hur dom klippte in samplingar på filmer i låtarna. Jag kollade igenom texter- sååå briljanta är dom inte. Jag backar. Men det här är fint:

Nån som satt sig ner och lyssnat på gruppen LIVE och deras texter. De har iaf en önskan om att verka seriösa och djupa. Måhända de är det, inte upp till mig att dömma men jag gillar deras musik lik förbaskat. Låtar som Lightning Crashes ger mig ståpäls efter ett decennium av lyssningar.. Galet.
