The pup is a "Jakt labbe" If I remember right the English crossed in Border collie to make them lighter, quicker and more intelligent.Both the dog and the bitch are imported from England by a Game keeper mate of mine, I´ve had working dogs all my life, from sheep dogs in Aust(Kelpies,Boarder collies and Aust cattle dogs blues and reds)to hunting dogs in Sweden. A well trainned dog is a free dog.
You have a beautiful looking dog. What is it? Vorsteh X Labbe?

Sam's a border/briard/rottweiler X.... Kind of a big mix, but he thinks he's a chiuaua

He became a bit bigger than we expected, a lot bigger than his parents, and a bit more Border Collie in temperament... Without the intelligence ( that's not fair, he's a quite bright dog but he's not a Border, more Rottweiler).

A two-syllable name is preferred. It's easier to shout and hear. The letter "s" is also good to include in a dog's name due to it's distinct treble register. It cuts through background noise.

Sigge is a good name for a lab
