Det som är på planeringsbordet just nu är hillclimb och hillsprint utöver själva rejset. Vilka fler grenar hade du tänkt dig?

Bunnyjumptävling? Ölhävning? flatland? best trick? mest krom? =)

Tja, typ något sådant. eler något 4X, fotboll kanske. Skulle ju kunna köra ett poängsystem där man får starta före med mer poäng eller nått.

Jag tänkte när vi ändå har VM kan man ju experimentera sig lite med SM:)

Men det kanske inte enns är klart vem eller vilka som skall arangera det officiella SSSM2006.

Eftersom det inte är sanktionerat så finns det väl inget officielt sssm =). Det är fritt fram för vem som helst att arrangera ett SSSM när och varsomhelst helt enkelt.

SSSM ska gå i STHLM i år. Vem som arrar vet jag inte. Men det bestämdes geografisk plats på förra SSSMet.

Det var i söndags i Grimstaskogen. Det var det enda sättet för mig att både vinna och komma DFL, eftersom jag är varken snabb eller slug nog att lyckas annars. Efterfestet var varmchoklad på Kaananbadets servering.

As the dis-organiser of the first ever SSSM, and one of the oldest users of this forum.. (formerly MTB guiden, sort of) I think I am certified to put you straight on this issue.

To be worthy of Arranging the SSSM, you have to either be the current champion... or the current champion has to choose you.

In simple term, whoever wins it, arranges the next one!

Sanctioning... what a nasty word to use in conjuction with a singlespeed event..
But.. seeing as you mentioned it:

I AM THE SELF APPOINTED SANCTIONING BODY FOR SSSM IN SWEDEN.

Oh.. and Daner.. You weren't in Linköping last year.. so your event and remarkable result is unfortunatly void. It wasnt a SSSM event, it was only a ride on your bike. ;-)

The venue was voted for the SSSM06 after the '05 race, and Stockholm was chosen.. as '04 was really great.

I continue in my quest to return the SSSM to it's original venue in Trollhättan.. but apparently only 4 people know where it is... :-) So I'll have to find a svetto junkie to ride my bike so a Troll can win, and after there will be cookies at my house.

Was wondering if you could give me some pointers on which areas to look at when booking accommodation? If we book somewhere in the city centre, will it be easy enough to get to the race course/parties?

The organisers are arranging for cheap accomodation as well but if you are going to book a hotel room try to book something in "Södermalm" which is the southern part of the central stockholm, then you will have up to 10 minutes less riding to the race course and the party.

Actually, its pretty close as long as you dont live in any distand suburb...

The race will be held at biking distance from the town center. The course is still secret but a fair bet is that it will be south of town.

We are contemplating a new rule for the SSWC:

§6. Clothing: No clothing indicating the wearers ethnic or religious belonging will be allowed. This also includes kippehs, chadors, shamaghs and turbans.
Participators wearing white t-shirts with a red St George-cross will be held in custody and deported according to the hooliganact.

Mens legwear can not have an open crotch, but must be stitched together between the legs, OR be in bright or pastel coulours. Men wearing legwear that is not stitched together will have their legs and genitalia shaved and will have to attend in the cross-dressing class and are not allowed to jump any obstacles or ride up inclines. Instead they will have to dismount and run with their bikes anytime the aforementioned situations appear on the racecourse.
