The bike has served me well for a series of years but it is over a year i am not using it since i have other bikes. New bearings in the frame were installed and both suspensions had seals and oils changed in July 2017 all done professionally at Trek store.
Modifications to the bike include a 1X10 set up with an e-thirteen 34T chainring. If needed it is easy to switch back to 3x10 setup. A Brand-X dropper seatpost is installed with a frame mod for using an internal cable. Tires have been changed to Kendas ExCavator with plenty of life left. Brake pads/brake fluid and cables were also changed during July 2017. Since then the bike was riden only three times just to set it up properly. The frame has over two years now two cracks, one in the chainstay and one in the seatstay (see last two pics). I have not noticed any change in the crack size or anything but it is something that needs to be stated. Do not have a clue if they are structural or aesthetic/paint cracks. I would guess the first one since Canyon bikes from that period had issues in general with their frames. I enjoyed the bike to its full extend and it was time to switch either way. The cost for buying a new rear subframe was according to Canyon 250 euros. Ride it as is with caution, weld it if you have the option to do so or just use all other parts into a new set up!
First and only owner so Canyon and spare part manuals are included.
