2x10 vs. 3x10 - Västra Götaland, Älvsborg

What do you recommend for trail riding in Västra Götaland, Älvsborg? Bollebygd area (think Knalleleden), to be exact.

My typical riding will include lots of trail, but also lots of forest roads (grusväg) and landsväg from my house to the trail.

I am 90% sure I want 2x10, but still a bit hesitant because of the amount of hills and grusväg riding that I will encounter on my typical rides. I am a decent climber and road cyclist and also comfortable getting dirty on the trail.

Anyone regret choosing 2x10?

I would also have chosen 2x10.
The trick is to find the best set up of casette and front chainrings for your legs and your type of riding.
Since lots of people enjoy the "knalleled" riding SS, I guess a 2x10 set up is no utopia.
