Bike-ahead mtb hju,l godkända?

Det var ett dåligt skämt. Förlåt.
Verkar inte som uci har samma digra reglemente för Mtb som för lvg.
Vad säger reglerna om Mtb hjul generellt då? Jag lyckades inte ens hitta det.
Såg ingen på VM heller med annat än "normala" hjul.
Var ska du tävla med dem? Vilken nivå talar vi om?

De om någon borde ju kunna hänvisa till exakt vad som gäller. Hur ska de annars kunna gnälla? :p

Det var bilder på nån från SM som körde på de hjulen. Så där fick de vara med iaf.

Erik Jonsson har kört på såna hela året. Dom är ju knappast nya i sammanhanget så skulle dom vara förbjudna så borde det synas..

Tror inte heller det finns något förbud mot de här hjulen i MTB. Vad gäller landsväg och cyclocross krävs dock mer än 12 ekrar + viss tjocklek på ekrarna för att vara godkända - de kan dock bli godkända om de klarar "kraschtest" och då hamnar de på UCIs lista över godkända hjul.
De här hjulen liknar väl de gamla Spinergy hjulen för landsväg/tempo och de blev förbjudna av UCI för landsväg - kanske därför kommissarierna muttrar...
Det enda (?) UCI säger om utrustning i MTB är att radio är förbjuden, dubbar på däcken samt tempostyre.

§ 2 Technical innovations
1.3.004
Except in mountain bike racing, no technical innovation regarding anything used, worn
or carried by any rider or license holder during a competition (bicycles, equipment
mounted on them, accessories, helmets, clothing, means of communication, etc.) may
be used until approved by the UCI. Requests for approval shall be submitted to the
UCI, accompanied by all necessary documentation.
1.3.018
For massed start competitions in the disciplines road and cyclo-cross, only wheel
designs granted prior approval by the UCI may be used. Wheels shall have at least 12
spokes; spokes can be round, flattened or oval, as far as no dimension of their sections exceeds 10 mm. In order to be granted approval wheels must have passed a rupture
test as prescribed by the UCI in a laboratory approved by the UCI. The test results
must show that the rupture characteristics obtained are compatible with those resulting
from an impact sustained during normal use of the wheel. The following criteria must
be fulfilled:
• On impact, no element of the wheel may become detached and be expelled outwards.
• The rupture must not present any shattered or broken off elements, or any sharp or
serrated surfaces that could harm the user, other riders and/or third parties.
• The rupture characteristics must not cause the hub to become separated from the rim
in such a way that the wheel becomes detached from the forks.
Without prejudice to the tests imposed by the laws, regulations or customs, standard
(traditional) wheels are exempted from the rupture test referred to above. A traditional
wheel is deemed to be a wheel with at least 16 metal spokes; the spokes may be
round, flat or oval, provided that no dimension of
their cross sections exceeds 2.4 mm; the section of the rim must not exceed 2.5 cm on each side.
Alltså får man testa innovationer inom MTB och dessutom finns inget krav på godkända hjul inom MTB
