Its about that time of year that we all get ready to hit the trails and the best bike park in Sweden. Weather conditions at the moment are the best we have seen in spring for a long time, the trails are drying and the bike park will be 80% ready for opening.
As it is looking so good up to opening with the weather, we have decided to open an extra day, so Gesunda bike park is offering half price lift tickets for Friday 22nd May and half price MTB hire, lift running from 10am until 18:00. The 23rd -24th May normal price and open both days open from 10am – 18:00. So book in at Gesunda at super cheap prices on accommodation and come up to enjoy a 3 day opening at Gesunda Bike Park.

We Will maintain all trails to a high standard, look at openning more single track trails,extend DH course, build a trail to the 4x area and Xcelerator, if we get a digger in time, we will reshape some of it, close viper trail as it is dead, and try to open Frame breaker in the next 4 weeks.
Bike storage (bring an extra padlock for your own safty) better bike wash, more choice with rental bikes.

Gesunda Resort will renovate Ski lodge, paint all the buildings. Wardhus will be open for breakfast and Dinner and Top stuga will be open for lunch, and keep the prices competitive for food, living and lift cards.

Under senaste trippen dit kom vi fram till följande regel gällande orts/platsnamn(utarbetad efter en lång telefonkonferens):

G+ hård vokal = G. Exempel: Gotland, Gullfjäll, Gårdsten
G+ mjuk vokal = Je. Exempel: Göteborg, Gislaved, Gästrikland

Hence: Je-sunda

Dave : Regarding the single track, did you mean lift connected single track from the top of the hill or pedal trails around the village/forest?

Ja, det är iallafall en faktor man alltid bör ha med i beräkningen.

from the top, the locals started it last year, also look at the whole dh course. most will be open friday, some wet patches here and there, still lots of work to do on all trails.

Ok Trail update:
We finished Magic Carpet yesterday and is in perfect condition
Start on Xcelerator Monday
Viper trail is closed due to heavy erosion (Until later in the season)
Skogsmys is being touched up, wet patches now have ladders over them
Älgspyan, same as all ways fast and tecky
Stökspåret good to go
Frame breaker will be finished for Midsummer
Underliften will be extended by midsummer
Tävlingsspåret work in progress (Wet patches)
Malin work in progress (Wet patches)
4x will be updated next week
access trail to 4x might be finished by openning
Locals trail is still being built

Sounds like you've been working hard Dave with your crew, all the best for the coming season, I hope to be visiting you in week 30 with a few guys on a road trip up north :D

Vad är upp med Gesundas öppettider?

17/8- 4/10 endast Lör o Sön kl. 10-14, någon som vet vad liftkortet kostar när det bara är frukostcykling?

Det börjar snöa i Mora i mitten på augusti, så de måste ha lite tid på sig på eftermiddagarna att skyffla rent alla spår.
