That is the issue with most top brands nowadays. Bikes are so good that is it really hard to make significant improvements. 4 years in, the V4 is still one of the best bikes on the market in its segment. The whole new swingarm thing is just that as they changed to the SRAM UDH derailleur hanger, they improved a few things while they were at it.
IMHO both as an owner and a dealer, don't spend more for the V4S than the V4 if you can find one in stock with a dealer (I don't have any so not me). It will bring no improvement in your riding and is likely to cost you a little extra for it.
Just make sure you stock an Ibis derailleur hanger and bob is your uncle...
