Onsdagscykling i Uppsala

Nice ride in Berthåga/Nåsten last Wednesday btw, many new tracks (to me at least) and the weather wasn't bad at all.

Yes, it turned into one of those epics when one just can´t get enough. Some trails were new to us too. Well, rather, we have done them before with Lasse, but only Lasse knows the all labyrinthine intricacies of some sections. I am trying to remember them each time.

We went out through Berthåga on trail 1, to Stenhagen, out to Herrhagen. Then we switched to trail 19 and came back to trail 1 again out to trail 20 out of Berthåga over the fields. In nåsten we went in via 22 and 6 up to 1b. There we took left a short bit and then we did the North Shorish "Lasses slinga" from 1b to 1. Then, followed a bit that really only Lasse and the elks and deers know, back to 6 avoiding the swamp and the jungelish underbrush. Then, we followed 6 again with a section only Lasse knows avoiding the field with the ditch on the east side. I hope I can find it again. The rest was pretty straight forward, 6 to the end of "Namnlösa kärret", 7b, 7c, and 7 towards Ekensberg. Then 2 north, and 6 and 5 eastwards. At last we followed a trail that Lasse has recognoitered with enormous slabs, lots of fun, beyond Norrby into Stadsskogen. Hope that makes some sense.

Hi Ralf, we are pretty knackered after eentering a road race today - and I think we will feel even worse by tomorrow, so we probably won't make it.

It was great actually. Cold and very wet for the first half, but that didn't matter too much. We took just over four hours - I was pretty wiped out afterward.

There's a MTB race in June (around 10th) in Stockholm, which Em is thinking of doing, if anyone else is interested. I think it's 60km (lida loop).

I'd like to try some race but as I'm not exacly very fast I'd prefer some really technical track.
Anyone know of a race with a Flottsund<->Lunsentorpet track profile? :)
I've also been thinking about Sömnlös i Rudan (24h race: http://www.ettannatlopp.nu/somnlos/index.php).

We were out for a short ride in Nåsten and managed to do all of "Lasse´s slinga" without losing the trail. It is an addition that really impoves Hundslädevändan, the trail we ride mostly in Nåsten, and makes it more fun; less road and above all, less muck and underbrush.

Well, as things appear at the moment I simply can´t go tomorrow evening, as I am buisy, on the other hand if some people like to bike tomorrow too I can´t see any reason why they should not.

Igår var det bara Jag, Per & Elisabeth som var tappra nog. Det blev en tur i Nåsten och vädret var inte alls dåligt.

Det blev en härlig tur i Lunsen i perfekt väder, Flottsund -> mot Bergsbrunna -> mot Karlsro -> Lunsentorpet -> Flottsund. Jag är helt slut efter det där tempot på tillbakavägen.
