Storlekshjälp Santa Cruz
Jag har bestämt mig för att köpa denna cykeln: http://www.santacruzbicycles.com/blurtr_carbon/
Problemet är att det inte finns några cyklar i landet så jag kan inte provcykla/sitta. Har frågat runt hos både santa cruz och ett flertal återförsäljare. I dagsläget har jag 3 st som säger att jag ska ha en medium och tre st som säger att en large passar mig bäst.
Så här säger SC själva:
"For general Trail riding at 179cm (approx 5'11") we would usually recommend
the Large size Blur- TRc frame. This is by far the most common size chosen
by other riders your size."
Competitivecyclist som överlägset har det mest seriösa storlekstestet säger:
Ok, looking at your fit calculator results, you need a frame with an ETT length between 23.4-23.8”. This puts you right in between the Medium and Large Santa Cruz frames.
Now, if you are racing or want a really quick handling bicycle I would recommend the smaller Medium sized frame. This will shorten the wheel base and keep the frame weight down for a more “race like” bike. If you are looking for a more XC/Trail bike that is just fun to ride for hours and hours then I would go with the Large size bike. This will elongate the wheelbase creating a more stable ride for more control on long downhills.
I mean if you classify yourself as a racer, IE your bicycle choice is driven by racing and racing performance and not general fitness and general fun. If you do not classify yourself as a racer then typically these riders value comfort and stability over snap handling and acceleration during climbing/sprinting.

on a medium and this is super for the TRc driving style:-)"
Är det någon här som har bra koll på olika geo/vinklar osv som kan hjälpa mig? Cykeln kommer att trampas mycket eftersom jag bor i Skåne. Vad skulle ni säga är fördelar/nackdelar om man jämför Medium och en Large ram?
