It was Banshee that behaved badly simply. Banshee is still banshee, it is the same company. That is all I meant. Cyclecomponents did a wonderful job, does that clarify it?
Since you are asking, I will give you the Banshee story again then:
1. After all the hassle with the original frames, one trashed in transport, not banshees fault, one faulty one sent to me, banshees fault, they told me that all that they had left was an 08 or 07 Pyre, painted in the next years color, the color of the new pyre, which went XC race in the process and dropped an inch in the rear. I told them I did not want that, hassle and stuff if I decided to sell it.
2. Then they said you get a new pyre, the XC race Pyre, the old was a AM Pyre. So, I am then sitting with a components that would not fit, for example fox36 a the front, and a bike I do not want. Really nice of them. So, after arguing for months, they decided to send a Rune. I fought for that, the Rune was the spiritual successor of the old Pyre the AM one, that they could not deliver.
Half inch more in the rear, but the same type of frame.
3. That Rune arrives with a bad bad anodization job done to it, it looked like it had tyfoid, and a deep gauge in the Bottombracket "tube" and they then refused to correct that.
So, the last 3 frames they want to send or did send, was second rate merchandise.
Cyclecomponents then kicked them out. What I am saying is you are the new Dealer for Banshee, but Banshee is the same.
I think Banshee are !#¤%&"!, since you asked.
