It looks good on paper but my understanding talking to engineers in the industry in the process of developing eMTB right now is that the Fazua Ride 60 is not 100% there yet so they are waiting to see improvement before seriously considering the engine as a real contender for them (especially on the software and connected app side). Can't tell whom but based on my signature you can figure it out

Hade inte koll på nya levo sl. Den kan vara ett alternativ nu när det är lite mer fjud i den ? Risen har jag provat, gillade den.

Fazua is a good product, IMHO. Just not fully cooked. I think they will sort out the software eventually but the question is when. Also, no range extender to date and they have been promising it forever...
The bosch SX is awesome (for the 2 hours I got to try it) but very few bikes with it and even fewer if you want local representation.
I still think the Orbea Rise is a very good choice for something analog-like in terms of handling.
Mine is on its 3rd winter (I mostly only ride it from October to April because I am mostly a bike park rat so as soon as the lifts are open...)
One great thing about it is that you can convert it to an e-Enduro bike with a Fox 160mm airshaft (10/15mn install if you know what you are doing) and a cascade link (20mn install).
Then you end up with a 150/160 bike with a progressive rear end and capable of riding pretty much anything you can find in Sweden.

Mostly software issues that created a rather unresponsive ride. However, I have not ridden a bike with one since the 1.8 software update so many of those issues may have been sorted

I had about 10mn with one in Germany around a parking lot. So, yes and no.
The one thing I am so so about it is that most of its power delivery comes at a high cadence.
So, it's not great for steep and tech climbs where you have to stop-start in any way.
And it is bigger than a TQ or Fuzua, so it is less inconspicuous than those if "stealth" is part of the reason you prefer light to full-fat EMTB.
But as much as the motor is important on an eMTB, right now I do not think that were are any bikes available that ride as well as the Rise or Levo SL.
Maybe the Nicolai Saturn 14 Swift HLS (fuck me sideways this is a mouthful!!!). Have not tested it but Nicolai tends to produce rather good bikes

Verkar sjukt störigt med dinosaurier och cykling samtidigt. Men skulle gärna ha tiden tillbaka då helstel SS var norm istället för hjälpmotor och dämpningssegling.
Jag har alltid något positivt och hjälpsamt att bidra med. Det här är det. Ni har bara inte förstått det än.

I understand. And you are entitled to your opinion. You are also entitled to keep it to yourself.
You have made up your mind and are not interested. the Ebike forum is separated from the main one so that people like you who feel sad in the face of progress can keep it together and have a nice life despite their inability to evolve. So do go back to make a living selling those overpriced titanium frames to Soder's hipster and enjoy your community of like-minded people as I do not see any Ebike enthusiasts invading those conversations to tell you and other SS lovers how wrong they are.

I don't have any connections or history with Mondraker so I am NEVER getting invited to anything they do ;(
But as a rider, I am a fan of the long top tube/reach, a short stem that originally was started by their Forward Geometry.
Like all those bikes, they need an active rider to make the best of it but if you are you should be happy with one
And the TQ50 is a quiet, no-drag, natural-feeling motor.
I know the integration is not as good on most bikes as on the Trek as their display, app, etc... is specific to Trek instead of TQ but how cares? When you ride you shouldn't be looking anywhere near you cockpit anyway

Jag har faktiskt nuddat en Mondraker Neat men fick aldrig cykla på den. Snygg är den!
Har inte TQ-motorn haft lite barnsjukdomar? Enheter som måste repareras e t c? Har läst om en del skräckhistorier men man kanske hör mest om det som inte fungerar.
När jag kört Trek EXe (2 korta tillfällen) så tyckte jag inte om att den bara ger kraft vid högre kadens. Vid 0 kadens är det 0 kraft vilket känns trist. Möjligt att det går att ställa in när motorn ska ge kraft i ngn app men med fabriksinställningarna blev jag besviken.
Sedan undrar man ibland vad 50 Nm betyder. Att TQ "nästan" skulle vara lika stark som en 85 Nm EP8 eller CX Perfomance måste vara ett skämt då dessa motorer känns betydligt mer än dubbelt så starka över hela registret.
Värst var väl Fazua 50 som kändes som knappt 25% av en full fat-motor.

That is because they can only provide max torque for very short (seconds) boost while the full fat can (in at the right cadence and incline) until the battery drops to the last few %
The nomenclature is admittedly misleading. I think only the Bosch SX can sustain max claim power but even then it needs to be at a high cadence and it will kill the battery real fast too (being smaller and all)

Comming from running and gravelbiking, I am now looking to dip my feet into the world of eMtb.
I have watched a lot of youtube and done some reading, and come to the conclusion that what I am truly looking for to fill all my needs is a Equipped eMtb like the
Trek Powerfly 4 FS equipped
Am I missing other makes and models or am I looking at a good buy with the above one?
Reasons I have opted for a equipped emtb are the following
1. i have a certain budget at max 50K
2. its either 2 bikes, one emtb for me and a more normal ebike for the wife (who will use it now and again to follow me out on rides when i am on my gravelbike) or its all on one better eMtb that we can both use and also bring a tiny small dog and picnic goodies on the back support.

There are a bunch of similar bikes, e g Specialized Tero X and Riese & Muller Superdelite (if that's still around), Canyon Pathlite:ON and I'm sure Cube has something too.
These bikes are not "real" eMTBs though. Bike parks are out of the question. Light trails are ok.

Thank you for your quick answer. I will have a look at the makes you mentioned.
Light trails, maybe an inch more is probably the most downhill i would dare adventure out on, say a bit more than i am able to on my normal gravelbike, Im an old dude of nearly 60 but i have always kept an active lifestyle but i am not still 25 (only my brain still thinks so) and i dont take out the limits as before. So I hope it will do good for me. Thanks again :) appreciate your suggestions!!

At 50k I would suggest putting it all in 1 bike.
You won't get anything reliable and safe for the wife under 20K and 30k for you is looking at compromising in a lot of places to make the budget work
However, the compromises are usually in components longevity that end up costing a long more (both in money, downtime and general annoyance)
This said it is only a concern you are planning more than a ride or so per week and only when the weather is clement with the road/trails bone dry. Otherwise, your usage should be low enough that by the time you need to replace the component they would have become so cheap it doesn't really matter.

Just got a chance to test a Pivot Shuttle SL in France 2 weeks ago.
I have to say that I was very impressed.
The Fuzua R60 is a good engine (especially for those looking for a Naughty-bike* feel) and the bike rides in a very similar way to something with far more suspension. I would say it is closer in ride quality and capability to their Firebird than their Switchblade (which I thought it would before testing based on numbers)
I was impressed. Not enough to buy one before I sell my Orbea Rise M-Team, but enough to consider doing it. Maybe... The Orbea is so good and versatile tho....

Thank you, that is kind of how I was looking at it, appreciate the answer. So hopefully ill have a small selection of bikes to compare in January 24 and follow them on "prisjakt" and see if Im lucky enough to catch a deal before springtime price rise.

It all depends on your budget and what you are looking for (ie what you ride and how you ride it
if it was my money and I didn't have an Unno Mith Factory with Race engine (that I cannot recommend to anyone who is not a master mechanic since it is a pain to maintain) I would go for:
If you like Bosch better:
Pole Voima
Pivot Shuttle AM
Canyon Strive ON
Ibis Osso (but they have had some teathing issues so make sure it is a newer one with the SRAM transmission drive and not the SRAM GX cable they sold it with when they launched)
If you like Shimano more:
Canyon Torque On
Yeti e160 (if you are the racer/aggressive trail rider type because this is not a beginner bike and a little harsh if not ridden hard)
Transition Repeater
Many more there are good options but those would be my first choices
I prefer the Bosch engine (and not because I have one because I also have a bike with the EP8 motor) and I think that mullet setup is really good, especially on e-bikes (but we don't all ride the same and if you are 2m tall, 29er is just fine)
So my peek, if money was no object, is a Pivot Shuttle AM and set it up as mullet but then again the Superboots 157mm rear axel is a pain since it is very hard to find wheels for it or you have to get bespoke ones and they cost a lot
I do not have any meaningful experience with the SRAM Powertrain system to make an informed opinion but since this is the same engine as the Levo gen3 (for everything that matters) and the SRAM transmission is very very good (but very very expensive) I think that the Ekano 2 CF Ultimate would be my choice (despite the €19K price tag)
Note that I ride a LOT. So per time use in a year, a SEK100K bike is cheaper to me than most people with a SEK30k bike so I tend to look at more expensive, reliable, resilient bikes than most.
However, my primary criteria are:
1-Geometry (at least 150mm front (preferably 170/180), 140 back (preferably 160) 64degree HA, and a balance front/rear center
2-Engine (power delivery is more important than power) Bosch, Shimano, or Brose (for reliability and service availability when the shit hit the fan
3-Ease of service (not for me since I have a fully equipped workshop at my disposal and the knowledge to do 99% of all my bikes' maintenance ie all but 200h suspension service)
4-Battery (anything that gives me 50km+ in "trail" mode in Swedish forest is good enough for me. I have a 750wh battery in my Unno and have never gotten close to draining it, I tried a range test riding Flottbro enduro loop in race mode and gave up after 12 laps since I still had 49% battery)
Pretty much everything else is consumable and needs replacing at some point so if you have to compromise (drivetrain etc...) you can always upgrade when it is time to replace

thanks for the reply . I have tried most of the new engines and I like bosh the most, so it will be a bike with a bosh engine. I ride mostly enduro and technical trails, compete in swe cup for the 4th year in the regular class so the idea is to test the emtb class this year so it leans towards strive ON or voima. the bike has to do 50 km + so 650 or 750 battery is a requirement I have.
Money vise its not a problem but I think the most bike you get for the money is the strive ON where you get a fox 38 fork and a x2 shock.

Actually long run I think the Pole are best value considering how well built they are and how easy to service they are.
That is very much the one brand I wish wasn’t direct to consumer so I could sell it
If you race, look at the new pole gravity downduro. As a mullet you will fine easier to handle one the tight twisted trails of swecup (for most parts) and you will most likely have to compete against my UNNO ?

The downduro is to much for swedish enduro , you dont need 190 mm suspension for swedish terrain .
Pole only has bikes with rockshox suspension and I dont like rockshox so pole is not a option for me .

Ja orbea wild är betydligt billigare än dom cyklarna jag kollat på och du får samma komponenter och stora 750 wh batteriet.
Orbean är också betydligt lättare än andra , hmm nu vart det svårare.

Orbea is great. I tested the new/current one.
Great platform, biff up the fork, long dropper, don't bother with carbon wheels (you are better off buying some bespoke with lifetime warrantied rims if you want to go down that road.
The only thing is that is it NOT a mullet
I like mullet more for the type of riding you mentioned on an e-bike (since the rear end is already so long due to the space taken by the engine)

Skönaste hoj jag kört. Den enda hojen som kommer i närheten var en topp-specad Turbo Levo S-works jag provade med alla de senaste o dyraste prylarna på.
Nackdelen med Wild är väl att det inte går att ta ut batteriet och att sladdarna går genom head set.

best option (IMO) is to go with the smaller battery and get the range extender
You pay about SEK2000 more but you get a lighter bike (especially where it counts ie front and high) for 99% of your ride and even when you race, you can start with the battery extender and drop it off once it is empty
Just for versatile
