It is fine. But on a city bike like that Treck it is unnecessary and expensive.
More can do less but you don't always need more and you pay for it
Plenty of city bikes new for the same price that will perform as well when commuting.
It is like getting a sports car to drive down the road to the shops. It can do it but do you need to spend sports car money when a run around will do the job just as well
The CX performance was developed for off-road riding and heavy cargo bikes. That is all I am saying. Nothing wrong with that model otherwise.
