Årsmodell 2021, så jag antar ingen garanti. Helt plötsligt efter en tur så laddar den inte. Har provat många olika USB-C. Någon som varit med om liknande? Vad göra?

Det vanliga gäller, skit i uttaget, vanligt på mobiler, ovanligare på grejer som inte går ner i luddiga fickor.

Drar enheten någon ström alls? Finns rätt simpla effektmätare som mäter kraft som går över USB.

Kör du en vanlig dum USB-laddare? Det är nog tryggast, lättast med en USB-A till USB-C kabel med andra ord.

Med USB-C PD /PPD så kan det ske lite förhandlingar som kickar ut enheten.

Allt misslyckats? Troligen batteri eller port som är boven.

Det är ett känt problem att tidiga exemplar av Bolt v2 har ett uselt laddningschip. Jag har ett gäng korta 0,5 m USB-C till C kablar som fungerar att ladda min enhet med, men inga av mina längre kablar (av samma märke/modell) fungerar.


Because of the period in which BOLT v2 was developed, despite having a USB-C connection type, early production BOLT v2 computers lack a voltage limiter in the unit, and so require either [1] a USB-A > C charging cable attached to a USB-A wall charger or a 'smart' charging source like a laptop to charge. Later production BOLT v2 units and ROAM v2 model computers do not share this limitation.

Hello Mats,

Thank you for reaching out to us and so sorry to read you are experiencing this issue with your ELEMNT Bolt.

Based on the information in the Wahoo Cloud, it looks like you are using Apple devices. There are some known issues with Apple cables and charging blocks not fully charging ELEMNT computers, in particular when they are near or below 40%. We have also seen issues with some lower Amp charging blocks as well. To better assist you, please use (or confirm) the following charging method (regardless of how you have been charging the device) to fully charge the battery:

Supplied charging cable + Individual / Non-Apple / 2-3 amp Power block + Individual Wall Outlet

*We do NOT suggest using USB Ports, Multi-charging Blocks, Multi-charging USB Wall outlets or PC/Laptop ports

With this suggestion charging set-up, I would first allow the Bolt to full drain down its current battery charge. Once drained, use the supplied cable and non-Apple charging block to fully charge the unit back up. Then power on to see if things have improved or not.

  • A copy of your original purchase receipt, showing the date and purchase location (PDF or image file, no EML files)
  • Your current shipping address (typed out)
  • Your phone number (typed out)
  • A photo of the back of the computer, showing the serial number
