Looking for local MTB club

Hej!

I am looking for a mtb club to join close to me (Trångsund) or in the south Stockholm area. I have been in Sweden for 3 years and haven't rode properly for over 8 years but i now want to start again. In the UK i used to ride mainly DH and FR but i am open to anything! I found a few clubs using google but they seem inactive and i have had no response. So any suggestions would be great!

Depends on what you want out of it? Not a proper club, but this site arranges the "Happyride" every tuesday, starting at the base of Hammarbybacken and heading out into the Hellas area. There are also loads of spontaneous activities to be found here and on Facebook (search for the group "Vi som cyklar mountainbike i Stockholm). As for FR/DH you have Flottsbro, which I think has a at least a group of people under the Cremé Fraiche Bicycle Club banner. Whether they are organised or merely ride now and then and drink beer I do not know. :-)

Im more just looking for the social side of things, i dont really enjoy riding on my own too much. I might have to join you on one on the Tuesday rides. Cheers !
