Discovery har tappat både Ekimov och Landis jämfört med tidigare år och ersättarna (Popovych och Salvoldelli) är inte alls lika starka i tempoåkning. CSC verkar grymma med Zabriskie, Voigt, Julich, Roberts och Basso. Phonak var väldigt bra på den team time trial som kördes i Eindhoven för ett tag sen.
