Have anyone of you replaced the 3x setup on a wicked 650b, looking to go 2x and chain guide & bash. What would work?
Light and easy to mount would be preferable but foremost it has to work.

I dont see the point of changing to 2x to be honest. All of my friends have had massive problems with our front derailleurs/chain retention on our Wickeds when they came as 2x10 with a chain guide.
I changed the 1x with a 34 tooth chain ring and have never looked back. I wouldnt even consider going back to a front derailleur. Think about it, you'll have to buy a new shifter, front derailleur, chain guide and crankset. To go 1x you would only have to change your cranks and you wouldnt even have to do that depending on your set up. Its a lot of money to spend on a system which I dont think works as well as 3x or 1x. When I had 3x I never lost my chain as the big ring kept it from dropping off the outside and the small ring kept it on the inside. When the wicked came with 2x it dropped off the outside continuously no matter how the chain guide was set up. Even YT themselves couldnt set the bike up in such a way that would stop it. I put a wide/narrow chain ring on and and it still dropped. Only a dedicated 1x chain guide works properly in my opinion. Also, even getting the front derailleur to change between chain rings was an issue for me and a friend. No matter how much we messed around with it sometimes we just couldnt get the bike to change between rings.
Go 1x or dont change at all. Weight saving, less maintenance, chain security, reduced noise, less junk on your bars. Everything is improved with a 1x. And your legs WILL get used to it.
